Alexandra Dowers focuses her practice on civil litigation, business disputes, estate matters, real estate conflicts, and contract issues. She represents both individuals and businesses in complex disputes and works closely with her clients to develop strategic, practical solutions to challenging legal problems.

Alex regularly represents contractors, property owners, and small businesses in disputes involving construction projects, unpaid work, contract enforcement, and real estate conflicts. She also assists clients with disagreements between joint property owners, neighboring landowners, and parties involved in business or contractual relationships. In addition to litigation, Alex advises small businesses on drafting and reviewing contracts designed to protect their interests and reduce the risk of future disputes.

A significant portion of Alex’s practice involves estate and probate matters. She represents trustees, beneficiaries, and family members in disputes regarding the administration of estates and trusts, including conflicts over the appointment of personal representatives and the management of estate assets. She also works with individuals and families to prepare estate planning documents, including wills and trusts, to ensure their wishes are clearly documented and their assets are protected.

Known for her strategic and practical approach, Alex focuses on helping clients cut through legal complexity and move toward effective solutions. With a strong background in economics, she approaches legal issues with both legal and financial insight, helping clients understand not only the law but the real-world impact of their decisions. Clients value her responsiveness, clear communication, and ability to translate complicated legal issues into straightforward guidance.

Alex earned her Juris Doctor from the Charleston School of Law, where she was a member of the Presidential Honors Program and was named to the Dean’s List. She holds two Bachelor of Science degrees with honors from Ball State University in Business Economics and Mathematical Economics.

She is admitted to practice in Indiana and before the United States District Courts for both the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana.

Originally from Southern Indiana, Alex returned to the state after law school and now lives in Central Indiana with her husband, their children, and their pets. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, reading, spending time with family and friends, and being anywhere near the water whenever she gets the chance.
